Why I Created Canine Foundations
Hi, I’m Dr. Amanda, an emergency veterinarian and founder of The Pet Parent Academy.
After years of helping dogs and the people who love them, I saw how often dedicated dog parents were left piecing together conflicting advice—and missing important pieces. Too often, when I shared something with a dog parent, I would hear:
“I wish I had known that sooner.”
I created Canine Foundations to give you the guidance I wish every new dog parent had from the start—the knowledge and tools that can make your dog’s life with you, and your life with your dog, better and more peaceful.
Because, I believe, every dog parent deserves access to informed, intentional dog parenting.
